Chad was born in London moving with his parents' northwards in 1974. He graduated from Liverpool University in 1991 but has been associated with the Practice since he was an ambitious14 year old accompanying the then Senior Partner, Walter James, on his farm and equine visits and 'seeing practice' at the surgery. He became a Partner in 1997. Chad's special interests are internal medicine and radiology (currently studying for his certificate in Veterinary Radiology).

Chad enjoys riding his horse, reading, computers, walking, gardening, sailing and fishing. He is also very proud of the charitable work he does as a Freemason. He is married to Jane, one of the Practice's senior nurses.
