David was born on a family farm in the Isle of Man many moonsago. He graduated in 1976 from Liverpool University and initiallyworked in 'mixed practice' on the Isle of Man eventually joining the Practice in Leigh in 1978. David has overseen many of the changes and growth in the Practice over the last 20 years, latterly as the most Senior Partner. His particular interests include soft tissue and reconstructive surgery and dermatology. He has also taken on board the task of stock management, ensuring we buy only the best and most appropriate products and are able to sell them at the best possible price.

His hobbies include DIY, Gardening, Sailing (after having attended a SPVS sailing week) and ministering to his family and pets. He has been a member of Leigh Round Table (recently retired) and actively supports many charitable organisations/events.

David has two daughters, Charlotte who is studying at Cambridge University and Aylish who is studying towards her A levels

When he reaches his retirement (equally many moons away) he is looking forward to returning to the Isle of Man.
